Concerns have risen for actor Ruru Madrid, a talent under GMA Network, as he shared an update on his health through social media.

Madrid, known for his roles in various Kapuso shows, revealed that he was rushed to the hospital due to a prolonged bout of flu, causing throat pain and difficulty in speech.
In an Instagram post, the actor disclosed, “Kinailangan kong dumiretso sa E.R from taping…dahil ilang araw na akong may trangkaso, masakit ang lalamunan at hirap magsalita.” Alongside this statement were pictures of Madrid lying in a hospital bed.
Madrid further revealed that the attending physician advised him to take a temporary hiatus from work to ensure a swift recovery.
Meaning, pause muna sa trabaho,” he stated.
Expressing his regret, Madrid mentioned, “I feel bad na kailangan po umabot sa ganitong sitwasyon at naapektuhan ang trabaho.” He conveyed his commitment to making amends, promising his followers, “Babawi po ako sa inyo, Pangako po yan! Godbless po at magpapagaling ako agad! [folded hands, red heart emojis].”
Acknowledging the support of his longtime girlfriend, Bianca Umali, Madrid expressed gratitude in his post.
