Veteran columnist and host Cristy Fermin has pointed to social media figure Xian Gaza in the ongoing controversy involving Mayor Bullet Jalosjos.
During her program ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ Fermin directly implicated Gaza, stating that he had explicitly named Mayor Bullet Jalosjos as the alleged benefactor of Dominic Roque.
“Si Xian Gaza po, isang vlogger, diniretso po niya na si Mayor Bullet Jalosjos talaga ‘yung nagbabahay dito kay Dominic Roque. Sa akin n’yo po ba ‘yon narinig?” Fermin questioned during her show.
She criticized the involvement of vloggers in the issue, expressing frustration at the dragging of Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and their programs CFM and SNN into the controversy. Fermin asserted that these individuals copied and imitated content, attributing it to her.
Fermin further conveyed her dissatisfaction, emphasizing that her reputation had been tarnished by the situation, which she did not desire.
Regarding Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and Bong Suntay, Fermin defended their stance, stating that they merely questioned their genders and expressed concerns about being misrepresented in an unpleasant situation.
Fermin referenced an interview with Jay Ruiz, where Mayor Bullet clarified that he rented out the condo unit to Dominic, rather than housing him directly.
Regarding Mr. Bong Suntay, Fermin indicated no personal affiliation, stating that she became aware of his name due to previous controversies involving Tito, Vic, and Joey of TAPE, Inc.
Additionally, Fermin addressed observations that only her name was repeatedly mentioned in Dominic’s official statement. She dismissed claims of bias towards TVJ, asserting her commitment to truth and fair reporting.
“Hindi po ako pakawala ng TVJ, ako po ay tagasuporta dahil ako po ay naniniwala at naninindigan sa katotohanan,” Fermin emphasized.
