GMA Assistant Vice President for GMA Afternoon Prime, Ali Marie Nokom-Dedicatoria, shared that the network’s highly-rated after series ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ will be extended until June.
During a media conference for the forthcoming series ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law,’ which marks the first legal series in the Philippines, Nokom-Dedicatoria shared that they aimed to present the medical-drama series and the legal-drama series in succession for the audience.
“Actually pangarap namin talaga na i-back-to-back ‘yung ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,’ which is a medical series, at ‘yung Lilet Matias. And we’re so lucky na ‘yung GMA management has extended ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ until June para maabutan nila ‘yung ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law,'” she expressed during the press briefing.
The lineup will commence on March 4, with ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ airing at 2:35 P.M., followed by ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law’ at 3:20 P.M.
Cheryl Ching-Sy, GMA Vice President for Drama, highlighted that this new programming reflects the hallmark of GMA Drama, integrating culturally and socially relevant themes. She anticipated that ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law’ would replicate the success of its predecessor.
‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law’ delves into the story of a small individual with grand aspirations of advocating for others in a world marred by injustices, discrimination, and poverty.
Jo Berry leads the cast as the titular character, alongside esteemed actors such as Sheryl Cruz, Rita Avila, Bobby Andrews, Jason Abalos, and others. The series also features EA Guzman, Analyn Barro, Joaquin Domagoso, Zonia Mejia, Jenzel Angeles, and Hannah Arguelles.
With ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ extending its run, GMA Network aims to provide viewers with a seamless transition into their newest offering, ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law,’ promising an engaging lineup that reflects the network’s commitment to quality drama.
