Actor Piolo Pascual shared his perspective on the importance of a love life, emphasizing that it’s not essential for everyone.
His insights were revealed during a recent vlog hosted by talent manager Ogie Diaz on Monday, March 11.
According to Pascual, he believes that having a romantic relationship is not a crucial aspect of life.
“Ang lovelife naman, ‘di naman siya essential, e. Hindi naman siya necessity sa buhay, e. Nasa sa tao ‘yon. May mga tao kasing kailangan ng partner. Kailangan ng may karelasyon,” Piolo shared.
He pointed out that the significance of a love life varies from person to person, with some individuals feeling the need for a partner while others may not. Pascual highlighted the importance of contentment and happiness in one’s life, suggesting that if someone is fulfilled and content with their current situation, there’s no necessity to seek out a romantic relationship.
“E, kung busy ka naman sa buhay mo at happy ka naman; kung okay naman kayo ni Lord, ba’t ka maghahanap ng komplikasyon?” he added.
Furthermore, Pascual expressed his doubt regarding his ability to balance a love life alongside his career responsibilities. He explained that maintaining equilibrium between the two aspects would be challenging for him, given his busy schedule and focus on his professional endeavors. “So ang sa akin, at my age, at this point of my life, I’ve been practical the last 26 years of minding the business. ‘Di ko siya mababalanse nang tama kung mas marami akong oras do’n [lovelife],” he said.
Despite his perspective on love life, Pascual conveyed a message of enjoying life’s journey and remaining open to opportunities as they arise. He acknowledged that when the right person comes along, it’s essential to embrace the experience fully.
“I-enjoy mo lang ang buhay. Kung para sa ‘yo, para sa ‘yo. Especially ‘pag dumating ‘yong tamang tao, i-enjoy mo. I mean, ‘pag dumating naman sa akin ‘yon, lahat ng sinasabi ko kakainin ko,” Piolo said.
