Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza graced the stage once again on Wednesday’s episode (April 24) of ‘It’s Showtime.’

In the opening segment of the noontime variety show, Forteza displayed her dance prowess alongside the girl group Baby Dolls, performing to the tune of Hwasa’s hit song ‘Maria.’

Following the energetic performance, Forteza extended her warm greetings to the audience with the trademark catchphrase, “What’s up, Madlang People,” not once but twice.

Forteza’s return to ‘It’s Showtime’ sparked interest, especially as she previously appeared on the show during its stint on GTV in July 2023.

When asked about her reaction to the show now airing on GMA Network, host Vhong Navarro, Forteza expressed her delight, emphasizing that it signifies more frequent appearances for her.

“Sobrang saya kasi ibig sabihin mapapadalas na ako rito,” she said.

The Kapuso actress also took the opportunity to promote an upcoming historical drama series on GMA Network, titled ‘Pulang Araw,’ urging viewers to watch out for it.

During her guesting on ‘Showtime Online U,’ Forteza revealed her desire to collaborate with Vice Ganda, particularly in a heavy drama project. She also expressed interest in working with Kapamilya actress and host Kim Chiu.

“Kung napanood n’yo po ‘yung vlog namin ni Ms. Kim Chiu, gustong-gusto namin mag-work together. Kung gaano kami kaingay sa vlog, gano’n kaingay din kami sa pelikula if ever,” she shared.

Fans can catch ‘It’s Showtime’ every Monday to Saturday at 12 noon on GMA Network, GTV, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWantTFC.
