Ruru Madrid continues to captivate audiences with his remarkable performances and steadfast commitment to excellence both on and off the screen.
Recently, on April 16, his unwavering dedication earned praise from fellow actress Yassi Pressman, who finds herself inspired to emulate his work ethic.
During a media interview for ‘Black Rider: Ikalawang Digmaan’ at The Vibe Bar and Cafe, Pressman expressed her admiration for Madrid’s craft.
“Mahusay din po talaga itong si Ruru eh,” she praised. “Hindi po siya mahilig magpa-bebe. Kahit sabihin mo umaga na ‘yan, o late na nakapagsimula, kahit madaling araw na po, talagang binibigay niya pa rin po ang all niya. Which is very very inspiring po talaga.”
Having previously collaborated in the 2023 film ‘Video City: Be Kind, Please Rewind,’ Pressman noted that Madrid’s professionalism remains unwavering. His dedication not only makes her job easier but also contributes to the cohesive atmosphere on set.
“Napaka-professional pa rin po niyang katrabaho, napakagaan pa rin po talaga ng taping namin, para din po kaming buong pamilya kapag nagkakasama kami,” she remarked.
As the series progresses, Pressman’s character Bane will delve into more intense scenes in the second season. She hopes to meet Madrid’s standard when it comes to action sequences.
“Sana po kung mapagbigyan ako ng ganitong klaseng mga eksena, mapantayan ko po ‘yung standard ni Ruru,” she expressed.
‘Black Rider’ is an action series airing on GMA Network every weekday at 8 PM.
