Former basketball star James Yap’s marital status has sparked speculation following reports of a possible separation from his Italian wife, Michela Cazzola.
Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz sought to verify the rumors, citing a source close to Yap.
“Dapat kumpirmahin ni James Yap ang balita na hiwalay na siya sa kanyang Italian wife,” said Ogie, noting the information came from a reliable source.
“If true, it’s unfortunate news. Pero sabi sa akin ng aking source, kung totoo man, maganda pa rin daw ang relasyon ni James sa kanyang ex-Italian wife,” Ogie added.
Yap and Cazzola share two children together.
Prior to his marriage to Michela, James was married to the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino. Their marriage lasted from 2005 to 2010 and produced a son, Bimby, who is now 17 years old.
