Bela Padilla is making a highly anticipated return to ABS-CBN with the new political drama series, ‘Pamilya Sagrado.’
Teasers have been released, showcasing Padilla in her role as the sister of the lead female character, played by Shaina Magdayao.
Padilla completed filming for her part in the series three months ago, which she hinted at in an Instagram post. The post featured a special video edit where Piolo Pascual, the lead actor, is seen carrying her in various scenes, with pine trees in the background, indicating the Baguio setting of the series.
A TikTok post provides more insights into Padilla’s character, suggesting that she has been estranged from her family and returns with unresolved anger towards her father, played by Joel Torre, and possibly her sister, portrayed by Magdayao.
‘Pamilya Sagrado’ marks Padilla’s comeback project with ABS-CBN and her return to television dramas after a five-year break.
Her last teleserye was ‘Sino Ang May Sala? (Mea Culpa)’ in 2019.
