Bimby Aquino, the youngest son of actress and TV personality Kris Aquino, recently became the subject of light-hearted teasing in a YouTube vlog when ABS-CBN writer Darla Sauler hinted that Bimby might have a crush on Mikha Lim, a member of the popular girl group BINI.
The playful exchange took place during Darla’s visit to the Aquino family’s home in the United States in August. Bimby cooked spaghetti for their guest, while Kris prepared “nilaga,” showcasing their close bond and hospitality. After their meal, Darla, Bimby, and his older brother Josh gathered in the living room for a casual chat in front of the camera.
“Darla is trying to set me up with someone,” Bimby jokingly shared, prompting Darla to chime in, “Kasi crush mo si BINI Mikha.”
Although Bimby denied having a crush, he clarified that he was being teased because some people think he and Mikha would be a good match. He did reveal, however, that he had met the members of BINI in person and had a picture with them.
When asked by Darla if he felt “kilig” (giddy), Bimby admitted with a smile, “Of course, she’s a very beautiful girl.”
During the conversation, Darla also touched on Kris Aquino’s health and her relationship with a doctor. Bimby shared an optimistic update, stating that his mother was “getting better” and expressing hope that they would return to the Philippines soon.
Regarding Kris’s love life, Bimby commented, “Everything has its time and place… You know, it’s fate.”
Kris Aquino and her sons, Bimby and Josh, have been staying abroad for several years due to Kris’s ongoing medical treatments for autoimmune diseases. Despite the challenges, the Aquino family remains positive about Kris’s recovery and their future.
