Veteran talent manager Lolit Solis has expressed concern over actor Paolo Contis’s career trajectory following recent developments.
Since the departure of ‘Eat Bulaga’ from GMA Network, Contis has had limited visibility in new projects, though he continues to be involved with the long-running gag show Bubble Gang.
In an Instagram post, Solis noted her disappointment that Contis was not featured in GMA’s latest station ID. “Ang ganda ng station ID ng GMA. Medyo hinahanap ko lang si Paolo Contis dahil parang di ko nakikita sa mga inilalabas nila. Solid GMA pa naman si Paolo at compared naman sa iba mas may premium naman,” she wrote.
Solis emphasized her belief in GMA Network’s expertise in managing its talent. “Pero I leave it to GMA dahil mas alam nila ang dapat gawin sa mga stars nila. Nanghihinayang lang ako dahil alam ko ang capacity ni Paolo Contis as actor pero hindi siya nasasama sa mga serye,” she commented.

Despite her concerns, Solis remains optimistic that Contis will receive new opportunities. “Hintayin na lang natin baka may magaganda naman silang naiisip para kay Paolo Contis. Hindi naman reklamador si Paolo kaya wala kang maririnig mula sa kanya. Basta naniniwala ako na you can never put a good actor down, magtatagal siya dahil talented siya,” she said.
Solis also offered words of encouragement to Contis: “Wait ka lang Paolo, your time will come. Shine more, bongga.”
In addition to his work on ‘Bubble Gang’ airing on GMA Network, Contis has been active in other areas. He recently appeared in ‘Magpakailanman: A Son’s Karma’ and is generating buzz with his film ‘Dear Satan,’ which has received an X rating from the MTRCB.
