ASUS Philippines has launched its most advanced AI-powered laptop, the Zenbook S14, at an event held on October 10 at Decagon Events Place in Pasig City.
The new model, Zenbook S14 UX5406, is designed to combine sleek aesthetics with high performance, offering an innovative experience for modern users.
The Zenbook S14 is one of the slimmest laptops in its class, measuring just 1.1 cm thick and weighing 1.2 kg. It features a durable outer cover in Zumaia Gray, inspired by the cliffs of northern Spain, ensuring a scratch-resistant surface that complements its premium look. The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch OLED touchscreen display, and a geometric grille above the keyboard provides cooling, while Harman Kardon-certified speakers enhance the audio experience.
The trackpad is intuitive, allowing users to adjust brightness and volume with smart gestures. Despite its slim profile, the Zenbook S14 comes with a complete set of ports, including two Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack, making it highly versatile.
Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor and Intel Arc graphics, the Zenbook S14 is optimized for handling AI-driven tasks. It also features a dedicated Microsoft Copilot button, allowing users to easily access the AI chatbot for text generation, email writing, and image creation based on user prompts.
The laptop comes with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, ensuring seamless multitasking and storage. Its 72Wh battery provides up to 27 hours of usage, making it ideal for professionals on the go. Additional security features include facial recognition for unlocking the device, as well as Adaptive Lock and Adaptive Dimming, which automatically lock the laptop when the user steps away and adjust brightness based on environmental light.
Priced at P109,995, the Zenbook S14 comes with a range of bundled offers, including a laptop sleeve, lifetime access to Microsoft Office Home 2024, a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Basic, a one-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, and ASUS’s 4A Quality and Service Package, which includes a two-year International Warranty.
ASUS also introduced other AI-powered laptops during the event, including the Vivobook S14 and Expertbook P5, further expanding its range of AI-ready devices designed for enhanced productivity and creativity.
