Actor-politician Bong Revilla Jr. has confirmed that he has more children outside his marriage to wife Lani Mercado, and that the public will soon learn their identities.
In a media conference for the upcoming third season of his show ‘Tolome: Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’, Revilla was asked about his character’s storyline involving a child fathered outside of marriage.
In response, he openly admitted that he has two daughters from outside his marriage, adding that his wife is aware of the situation.
“Alam ni Lani kung ano ‘yung totoo. Meron [anak sa labas]. But I’m not going to. Pero meron. Makikilala niyo rin kung sino siya, kung sino sila,” he said.
Revilla emphasized that he is not ashamed of having children outside of his marriage, stressing that it is important to acknowledge and love his children. He also pointed out that hiding the truth would be unfair to the children involved.
“Hindi naman pwede itago ‘yan, unfair ‘yon sa mga bata. Kapag anak mo, anak mo. Dugo mo ‘yon. Mahalin mo ‘yon. At hindi ko ikinahihiya ‘yon,” Revilla added.

Revilla had previously been involved with non-showbiz personality Lovely Guzman, with whom he shares a son, Luigi. Revilla and Mercado, who married in a civil ceremony in 1986, have seven children together: Bryan, Jolo, Inah, Alexandra, Gianna, Franzel, and Ramboy.
Revilla’s candid revelation came as he prepares for the premiere of ‘Tolome: Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ Season 3, which is set to air on GMA Network starting December 22.
