This special edition of their debut album, released as a gesture of gratitude to their fans, features all 13 original tracks plus the newly unveiled song “HIRAKEGOMA.”
“HIRAKEGOMA (開けゴマ)”, meaning “Open the door”, draws inspiration from the timeless tales of One Thousand and One Nights. In this classic story, the words “HIRAKEGOMA” unlock a secret cave filled with treasures, and the phrase has since become a beloved part of Japanese culture.
In Japan, “HIRAKEGOMA” is often used in everyday conversation as a playful expression for magical or lucky outcomes. The phrase conveys the idea that certain words hold the power to create wonderful possibilities, much like “abracadabra” in English. The track’s lyrics mirror this theme of unlocking potential, as seen in lines like “Adding ‘i’ onto the horizon”.

Since their debut on January 1, 2024, with the single “GOAT,” Number_i has achieved incredible milestones. Their debut album “No.I” topped the Billboard Japan JP Albums Chart and reached #4 globally on Spotify’s TOP ALBUMS DEBUT GLOBAL chart, selling over 400,000 copies.
