Denise Laurel has officially returned to GMA Network after almost 20 years and is set to star in the upcoming afternoon series ‘Prinsesa ng City Jail.’
The teaser for the show, which premiered recently, featured Denise in a striking antagonist role as Divina, the formidable character who will challenge the lives of the lead stars Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.
Her last teleserye appearance with GMA Network was in the 2005 fantasy series ‘Encantadia’. After nearly three years away from the small screen, Denise is back in action, taking on a full kontrabida role that fans have eagerly awaited.
Denise’s last significant role was in the Viu series ‘Flower of Evil’ in 2022. She also made a guest appearance as a judge on ‘It’s Showtime’ last year.
