Actress and TV host Karla Estrada has revealed that her relationship with former partner Jam Ignacio remains strained, making him the only ex she is not on good terms with.
In an interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Estrada shared that she has maintained friendships with all her previous partners—except for Ignacio, with whom she broke up in 2024 after five years of being together.
“No, we’re not [friends]. Lahat ng ex ko, friends ko. Itong ex ko pa lang na ito ang hindi pa,” Estrada admitted.
Despite the current rift, Estrada expressed hope for reconciliation in the future, emphasizing that forgiveness is a process that takes time.
“Magiging kaibigan ko iyan eventually. Kasi ang pagpapatawad, hindi naman overnight,” Estrada explained. “Hindi lang naman ako ang kailangang magpatawad — kailangan ko ring patawarin ang sarili ko. Sa part niya, kailangan niya rin ako patawarin.”
Estrada, however, acknowledged that their paths may never cross again, especially since they do not have children together.
“Wala kaming koneksyon. Pero para sa sarili kong katahimikan, eventually, makakapagpatawad rin ako,” she added.
Ignacio is now engaged to his new partner, Jellie Aw, whom he proposed to in November 2024.
The strained relationship between Estrada and Ignacio resurfaced on social media after Estrada posted a cryptic message hinting at legal action. In a now-deleted Facebook post that went viral two weeks ago, Estrada warned: “Fame whore, low life people. I don’t have time for this, but my lawyers have. Cyber libel, here we go.”
Netizens were quick to connect Estrada’s post to Jellie Aw, who posted a response on her Instagram story, mentioning Estrada by name. Aw hinted at a conflict involving her professional life. “Karla Estrada, nanahimik ako! Wag mo damay work ko,” Aw wrote.
Neither Estrada nor Aw has confirmed the nature of the dispute, but the social media exchange has fueled public speculation about lingering tension between them.
Despite the recent drama, Estrada remains open to finding love again. “Of course! Walang taong makakapigil na magmahal kang muli,” she said with a laugh.
Since the breakup, Estrada has largely kept silent about her relationship with Ignacio. However, the renewed conflict between her and Aw has sparked interest among fans and followers, who continue to monitor the situation for further developments.
