Is Kylie Padilla single again?
Fans have been speculating about the actress’ current relationship status following a string of cryptic posts about love and independence on her Threads account.
The rumors of a breakup with her non-showbiz boyfriend began when Kylie shared a candid post reflecting on why she tends to stay in relationships longer than she should.
“I swear I’m not naive but I want my relationships to last forever, which is probably why I stay longer than I should,” she wrote.
She continued, “I just don’t want to accept failure. But never force something that has passed expiry date.”
In the comments, one netizen challenged Kylie to remain single for an entire year, saying: “Might be impossible for the aquarius woman like you na walang karelasyon for that long, but it’s better to focus more on your kids and career muna sa 2025 than finding or having a love life. Try to have a strong goal like winning an acting award this year? Why not, ‘dba? I understand your physical needs, but don’t be in a relationship because of it.”
Kylie agreed, responding, “Exactly the goal .”
The actress also posted additional statements hinting at her current mindset, including: “A lot of women are single because they elevated their standards. Can’t blame them for that.”
“Cut it before any ties form. You know yourself, so be smarter.”
“It’s ok not to know all the answers at once. Time and trust will tell.”
Kylie’s relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend became public in January 2023 when she confirmed through a TikTok post by celebrity fitness coach Francis Simon that she was dating someone who made her happy. While Kylie did not reveal his full identity, many speculated that it was tattoo artist Jinno John Simon, Francis’ brother.
The couple was spotted together in various locations, including during a vacation in Thailand and casual mall trips.
Kylie’s last public relationship was with her ex-husband, Aljur Abrenica, who is now dating actress AJ Raval. Kylie and Aljur share two sons, Alas and Axl.
