On January 21, 2025, the first Star Magic Spotlight of the year happened at Coffee Project, Wil Tower, Quezon City, showcasing a stellar lineup of artists, including Andrea Brillantes.
Having begun her career as a child actress in Goin’ Bulilit, Andrea has amassed an impressive array of milestones and achievements over the years. Her most recent recognition, however, is one she shared with pride—being recognized and ranked as the number one face on the prestigious 2024 Top 100 Most Beautiful Faces list by TC Candler and Independent Critics.
“Last last year kasi, napabilang na din ako pero from what I can remember, top 16 ata. Noon palang super happy na ako. It was such an honor talaga na mapili ‘yung face ko. So nung nalaman ko na top 1 ako (2024 list)…random Tuesday ata ‘yun…tiningnan ko agad ‘yung sarili ko sa mirror, tapos sabi ko ‘Top 1 ka?’” Andrea shared cheerfully.
TC Candler, a renowned organization, is celebrated for its annual publication of the globally recognized 100 Most Beautiful Faces list. This prestigious list honors individuals who embody natural beauty and an impactful presence, with the Independent Critics playing a key role in selecting the honorees.
In 2024, Andrea Brillantes claimed the top spot, sharing the spotlight with global icons such as BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actress-model Sydney Sweeney, who also made it into the top 10.
Andrea expressed her gratitude, “Thankful lang ako, pero siyempre hindi ko siya pinapapasok sa ulo ko na Top 1 ako. Ang saya niya pagbiruan lalo na with my friends… happy lang talaga ako, ang saya lang niya!”
“Hindi lang kasi dapat pretty ka, dapat pretty din ‘yung atittude mo. Nandun talaga ang kagandahan, kapag ang heart mo ay pretty,” she also shared.
She also revealed a lesser-known fact about herself—a passion that not many are aware of.
“Hindi alam ng mga tao sakin, mahilig ako sa music. Lumaki talaga ako sa music. Naka-rely din ang mood ko sa music. Kung may heart ako, 80% dun music… I aspire to be a musician one day. Isa sa first kong pangarap ay maging Pop Star,” she revealed.
“This year, I’m sure makikita niyo din ako sa TV—anytime soon. Marami rin po ako magiging releases for Lucky Beauty na super excited ako. At marami pa pong iba. Marami kayong maabangan sa akin this year. ‘Yun nalang masasabi ko.” Andrea said, teasing her plans for the year.
