With the arrival of the Chinese New Year, various predictions about celebrities have surfaced—including one about the nation’s girl group, BINI.
In the latest episode of ‘Showbiz Update’, entertainment insider Ogie Diaz, along with co-host Mama Loi, shared a surprising revelation from a fortune teller regarding the future of the group.
According to Ogie, he spoke with a fortune teller who predicted that SB19 would continue to thrive, even as some of its members pursue solo projects. However, when asked about BINI, the response was different.
“Ang sabi sakin, meron isang aaklas. Merong isang magso-solo,” Ogie revealed.
His co-host, Mama Loi, reacted with shock: “Huh?! Eh ano na mangyayari sa BINI? Mabubuwag na ba sila?”
Ogie clarified that, according to the fortune teller, only one member would leave, and the rest of the group would remain intact.
When asked who among the members might go solo, Ogie disclosed that the name mentioned was Gwen Apuli.
Mama Loi then questioned whether BINI would follow the path of SB19, where members take on solo ventures while still being part of the group.
“Ay sana nga ganun ‘no, na pwede silang imbitahan ng solo, pero may pagkakataon talaga o mas madalas na magkakasama sila,” Ogie responded.
Ogie also mentioned that he was invited to BINI’s contract renewal event with ABS-CBN, where he hopes to ask the group about the prediction firsthand.
Despite the fortune teller’s claim, he remains doubtful that it will come true, especially given BINI’s continued success.
“Ako naman, malakas ang pakiramdam ko since naging successful sila bilang grupo, feeling ko mae-maintain nila ‘yan o ma-su-sustain nila ‘yan. ‘Yung mga hula, pwedeng totoo, pwedeng hindi,” he stated.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official statement from BINI regarding this intriguing prediction.
