Content creator Jeraldine Blackman has denied accusations that her recent separation from husband Josh Blackman was orchestrated for social media engagement, stressing that they would never deceive their supporters for views.
The vlogger confirmed their split on February 21, announcing: “Josh and I have separated. We’re good friends. I just know that he is a good person and he is the best father that Jette and Nimo could ever have.”
Following her announcement, some netizens speculated that the separation was a mere publicity stunt, with comments suggesting that the couple was trying to generate online buzz.
A Facebook post from ‘Truth Slaps’ on February 22 shared screenshots of netizens’ remarks, including: “Good job prank, Ate Den. Separate lang sila ng titirahan kasi titira si John sa ibang lugar na haha love it!”
Another user claimed: “Kapitbahay ko siya. Sinabi niya sa akin, ‘Pag tahimik ang social media, kailangan mag-ingay! lol.”
On February 23, Jeraldine dismissed these allegations through a statement on The Blackman Family’s official Facebook page.
“Don’t believe anything you hear from any other source. We would never disrespect our fans like this. We only want to be open and honest about our relationship because we felt our fans deserved to know.”
Her statement came in response to growing speculation that the breakup was merely a social media stunt.
Despite the controversy, many of their supporters expressed understanding and well-wishes, with some hoping for the couple’s reconciliation.
While some followers remain hopeful for a reconciliation, others have encouraged the couple to make the best decision for their family.
As of now, neither Jeraldine nor Josh has provided further updates on their relationship, leaving fans waiting for clarity on the future of the Blackman family.
