Actor Donny Pangilinan is earning praise online not for a performance on screen, but for his heartfelt show of compassion for flood victims in Cavite.

The ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ star personally visited evacuees in Silang, Cavite to distribute grocery items and mattresses to families affected by days of relentless rain and flooding. Photos of the visit were shared by one of the beneficiaries, Flory Arana Saring, who posted on Facebook:
“Thank you so much Donny Pangilinan for providing mattresses and grocery for our evacuees. The children’s will now be able to sleep soundly!!”
Netizens quickly lauded Donny for his sincerity and humility, noting that this wasn’t the first time he extended help without calling attention to it.
Earlier this month, Donny reportedly donated ₱1 million to his former school. In April, he was also spotted assisting fire victims in Cavite — all without publicizing his efforts himself.
His love team partner, Belle Mariano, also took part in relief efforts. On July 24, she personally visited the Hapay na Mangga Elementary School Evacuation Center in Taytay, Rizal to hand out rice and grocery packs to displaced residents.
Despite his fame, Donny continues to show that compassion and quiet generosity are what truly define a star.
