Amid past controversies, Maris Racal assured fans that she and Anthony Jennings remain on good terms as they work together in the action-thriller series ‘Incognito.’

In an airport interview on February 11, entertainment journalist MJ Felipe asked Maris about her dynamic with Anthony now that they are once again sharing the screen.
“Very supportive kami sa isa’t isa pagdating sa mga eksena. Wala kaming galit,” she said, emphasizing that their focus is on their work.
When asked if they were still friends, Maris responded briefly but clearly:
“Yeah, we’re all friends.”
Felipe pressed further, specifically asking if she and Anthony remained close, to which she replied, “We’re good.”
The interview took place before Maris flew to Germany to attend the 75th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale 2025), where she is set to represent her film ‘Sunshine.’
On February 12, the actress shared photos of her arrival in Berlin on Instagram, including a selfie taken in front of the Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin sign with the caption, “This is crazy.”
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, ‘Sunshine’ follows the story of a young gymnast who discovers she is pregnant just before her tryouts for the national team, forcing her to make a life-changing decision.
Before Berlinale, the film had already gained international recognition, premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2024 and screening at the Palm Springs Film Festival earlier this year.
‘Sunshine’ is competing in Berlinale’s Generation 14plus category, facing strong contenders from Brazil, Greece, Germany, Belgium, India, and Canada, among others.
The Berlin International Film Festival runs from February 13 to 23, with the awards night set for February 22.
