His standout creations include the fiery Croqueta Gonzalez (chili beef-stuffed potato balls) and the playful Yiken Inasal sa Gata, reimagining Bacolod-style skewers with a creamy coconut twist. The creativity continues in the details—like the Engkanto Ale Mustard, crafted from scratch, to pair perfectly with the Sausage Party platter.
“From the soft launch to the grand opening of Engkanto Taps in Sta. Rosa, I’ve seen firsthand how much people enjoy the beers just as much as the food,” Brewmaster MJ says. “Since I live nearby, I’ve invited friends over and made plenty of new ones along the way. There’s nothing quite like the laidback vibe, great flavors, and fun atmosphere we’ve created—and we’re bringing that same energy to BGC, maybe even with an extra kick from the vibrant nighttime crowd looking for their new favorite hangout spot.”
