Actor Archie Alemania has remained conspicuously silent days after a Bacoor court issued an arrest warrant against him in connection with an acts of lasciviousness complaint filed by actress-singer Rita Daniela.

Despite the public nature of the case and growing media coverage, Alemania has yet to release a statement or surface publicly following the March 18 order from the Bacoor City Municipal Trial Court.
The court found probable cause to move forward with a trial and ordered his arrest, stating, “Considering that the accused is at large, let a warrant of arrest be issued against him.”
The case stems from an incident in late 2024, where Rita alleged that Alemania forcibly kissed and groped her after a house party hosted by their ‘Widows’ War’ co-star Bea Alonzo. She detailed in her complaint how Alemania allegedly insisted on driving her home, then made repeated unwanted advances during and after the ride.
Prosecutors in Bacoor found a prima facie case and indicted the actor under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, which penalizes acts of lasciviousness. Alemania’s recommended bail was set at ₱36,000.
Rita’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, expressed hope that authorities would be able to apprehend Alemania soon so that legal proceedings could begin. “In the end, Rita just wants to achieve the justice that she deserves,” she told ’24 Oras’.
As of press time, Alemania’s camp has neither responded to media requests nor clarified his current whereabouts, leaving many to question when — or if — he will address the issue.
