Ice Almeria emerged as the first grand champion of ABS-CBN and Nathan Studios’ reality dance competition “Time To Dance” after he received the highest combined score of 92.21% from his last duo and solo performances at the show’s finale on Saturday (April 12).

During the final solo round, the youngest dancer of the competition secured the win after impressing the Dance Council members with his powerful dance routine which showcased his story of battling judgment from other people when it comes to his talent.

As the grand champion, Ice took home the P300,000 grand prize. Kenneth, who ranked second, won P100,000, while Emman, who ranked third, received P50,000.

Cherry Tolentino, Paulo Capuz, and Julian Villegas meanwhile failed to amaze the dance council and got the lowest combined score from their performances.

The Dance Council for the grand finale was composed of Streetboys member and It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro, Director of World of Dance Philippines Vimi Rivera, World of Dance PH finalist Ken San Jose, Artistic Director of Padyak PH Von Asilo, UPeepz Founder Chips Beltran, A-Team Coach MJ Arda, and Artistic Director of Philippine Allstars Lema Diaz.

New Gen Dance Champion Gela Atayde thanked the dance contenders for inspiring viewers with their talent and stories. Gela hosted the show with Robi Domingo.

Viewers can rewatch the full episodes of “Time To Dance” on ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel. Follow @abscbnpr on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates, or visit www.abs-cbn.com/newsroom.
