Singer Klarisse De Guzman made headlines after bravely coming out as bisexual during the Wednesday episode of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’.
In a heartfelt moment inside Kuya’s house, the Soul Diva revealed not only her sexual orientation but also introduced the public to her long-time partner.
“Sa tingin ko, ito na ‘yong time para sabihin sa inyong lahat, and to tell the world, that I am not straight. I am bi,” Klarisse shared emotionally with her fellow housemates.
“May four-year akong partner. Her name is Trina. Hindi alam ng public, pero alam ng parents ko. And kasama ngayon ng mama ko is her,” she added, referring to her partner Christrina Rey.
Following the broadcast, Christrina took to Facebook to express her love and support for Klarisse, sharing an art card from ABS-CBN News along with a touching message:
“I AM PROUD OF YOU! I’m always here, always! I’ll wait u here sa outside world. Love Wins ️,” Christrina wrote.
In another post, Christrina defended Klarisse and encouraged the public to continue supporting her partner: “Baliko man o tuwid, ‘yan ang mundo at walang mali sa’yo,” she wrote.
“Sana po ay patuloy niyong yakapin at mas mahalin ang nag-iisang KLARISSE DE GUZMAN! Keep on shining, Our Soul Diva.”
