ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” and GMA Network’s family game show ‘Family Feud’ continue to dominate their respective programming blocks.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People Ratings, both “It’s Showtime” and ‘Family Feud’ maintained strong leads in the noontime and pre-primetime slots, respectively.
On Monday, May 12, “It’s Showtime” registered a 4.6% rating—nearly double that of its rival ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ which scored 2.4%.
The following day, Tuesday, May 13, “It’s Showtime” extended its lead with a higher 5.7% rating, outperforming “EAT…Bulaga’s” 3.6%. Meanwhile, ‘Family Feud’—which was preempted on Monday for election coverage—returned with a commanding 7.8% rating, far ahead of its nearest competitor, Sa Ngalan ng Ina, which posted just 1.1%.
By midweek on Wednesday, May 14, “It’s Showtime” climbed to 5.8%, with ‘EAT…Bulaga’ also improving slightly to 3.8%. ‘Family Feud’ remained dominant, scoring 7.6%, while all its competitors failed to break the 1% mark.
On Thursday, May 15, “It’s Showtime” inched up again to 5.9%, as ‘EAT…Bulaga’ slipped to 3.6%. ‘Family Feud’ held steady with 7.6%, continuing its wide margin over other shows.
Finally, on Friday, May 16, “It’s Showtime” capped off the week with its highest rating of 6.0%, maintaining a solid lead over “EAT…Bulaga’s” 3.7%. ‘Family Feud’ also finished strong at 6.8%, with its closest rival, the PBA, trailing at just 1.1%.
