Singer-actress Jayda Avanzado is stepping into a new era in her career as she officially becomes part of the Viva family.

Jayda recently signed a publishing and recording deal with Viva Records, in collaboration with Universal Music Group (UMG) Philippines. Alongside this, she also secured a co-management contract with Viva Artists Agency (VAA), paving the way for upcoming projects in film, television, and brand endorsements.
The contract signing was formally announced during a media conference attended by Viva executives, led by Boss Vic del Rosario, together with Vincent, Veronique, Valerie, and Verb del Rosario.
Talent clearly runs in her blood—being the daughter of ‘Original Prince of Pop’ Dingdong Avanzado and ‘Phenomenal Diva’ Jessa Zaragoza.
Jayda began her journey in music and entertainment back in 2017. Since then, she has made impressive strides: partnering with various brands, releasing her debut EP ‘In My Room’ in June 2018, becoming a regular on ‘ASAP’, and headlining her first digital solo concert, ‘Jayda in Concert.’
From 2021 to 2024, she continued releasing songs, including ‘No Way But Up’, which served as the official soundtrack for the TV series ‘Teen Clash’, marking her acting debut. She also co-wrote ‘Right Lover, Wrong Time’ with her father.
In 2023, she joined Republic Records Philippines, a UMG subsidiary, further expanding her musical reach.
Her dedication to her craft has earned her notable recognition at a young age, including Best Female Recording Artist at the 32nd Awit Awards in 2019, and Female Pop Artist of the Year at the 13th PMPC Star Awards for Music in 2022 for her song ‘Sana Tayo Na.’
