Showbiz insider and talent manager Ogie Diaz didn’t hold back when he addressed a question circulating online: “Bakit may mga tumatakbong artista na parang walang sumusuportang kapwa artista?”

The veteran showbiz columnist also gave a piece of advice to the voting public ahead of the 2025 national and local elections, especially when considering celebrity candidates for senator:
Diaz emphasized that popularity should not be the sole basis for electing stars into public office.
A known advocate for good governance, Ogie was an outspoken Kakampink during the 2022 elections, supporting the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan tandem.
His remarks now add to the growing conversation about celebrity politicians, their track records, and the industry’s silent stance on personalities whose reputations don’t inspire support from their peers.
