Luigi continues to goof off and toys with girls’ hearts, until he meets Susie (Zsara Laxamana), the beautiful, sexy, and smart “Crush ng Bayan.” He suddenly straightens up his act, becomes a better man, dumps all his other girlfriends, and becomes loyal to Susie.
This change dismays Mariz (Anna Marie Gonzales), one of Luigi’s girlfriends, who is overly attached and madly in love with the young man.
Unfortunately, the girl whom Luigi changed for is not that into him. Susie is also gender fluid and dates both men and women. And much to Luigi’s surprise, Susie is actually Luigi’s friend’s girlfriend.

In “Ang Pagmumukadkad ni Mirasol”, a film by Ambo Jacinto, a high school student named Mirasol is seeking the warmth of intimacy. So, just like a sunflower (the English translation of her name) that faces the direction of the sun to keep blooming, she finds herself turning to one guy who is eager to pleasure her every time she’s in heat.
It all starts when Mirasol (Quennie De Mesa) goes partying with her friends days before graduation. She knows that her strict parents will not approve, but the fear of missing out is real.
She doesn’t miss out, all right. In fact, she experiences a lot more than she should. She arrives at the party like a bud, but comes out like a flower in full bloom after spending the night with Aries.
Aries (Ghion Espinosa) is an academic achiever, though he exudes a bad boy aura. Just like a lot of other girls, Mirasol finds him so attractive. Aries knows this and also does his part to make her feel wanted.
But the ecstasy of their lovemaking will soon be replaced by the misery of unplanned pregnancy. “Ang Pagmumukadkad ni Mirasol” aims to show the different perspectives of the youth regarding sex. It also hopes to make the audience see that their actions could have a grave impact not just on themselves, but most importantly, on their would-be offsprings.
This VMX exclusive also stars Ralph Christian Engle as Jeff, Mirasol’s nerdy childhood friend who deeply and secretly cares for her, and Sheena Cole as Faye, Mirasol’s best friend who has a liberated view on sex and relationship.
