Earlier this week, the group already teased their fans in the Philippines for a possible tour this year.

K-pop sensation Le Sserafim has captured the hearts of Filipino fans as their hit song Crazy surges in popularity, thanks to a viral moment ignited by Filipino entertainment icon Vice Ganda. On April 28, Vice Ganda launched the self-proclaimed National Crazy Day on ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime, featuring a massive flash mob performance of Crazy. The event brought together some of the brightest influencers, Pinoy Big Brother stars, and popular actors like Yassi Pressman, who joined Vice in a high-energy dance spectacle. This marks a rare occurrence, as It’s Showtime has previously hosted such large-scale flash mobs only for BINI’s Pantropiko and Sarah Geronimo’s Tala, both of which became cultural phenomena in the Philippines.
The flash mob, which also featured former Tawag Ng Tanghalan and Kalokalike contestants, Showtime Online U, Baby Dolls, Showtime Kids, and influencers like Toni Fowler, Yobab, Krissy Achino, and Whamos, amplified the song’s reach. Crazy, a track from Le Sserafim’s latest comeback, had already debuted at No. 47 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart on September 14, 2024, largely due to its infectious beat and viral TikTok dance challenge. Vice Ganda’s unique dance moves to the song further propelled its popularity, inspiring countless Filipinos to join the craze.
Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin expressed her astonishment in a heartfelt tweet on May 2, sharing a screenshot of a chat where she reacted to the song’s viral status in the Philippines. “yall crazy is going viral in the Philippines???” she wrote, followed by a grateful shoutout: “thank you vice ganda @vicegandako) everyone say thank you vice gandaaaa….” The tweet quickly gained traction, amassing thousands of interactions.
Netizens flooded the replies with excitement and gratitude. User @viceganda wrote, “Need them to collab or something ,” while @haterssuckss echoed, “Thankyou meme @vicegandako.”
The group, through their official TikTok account extended their gratitude to the Filipino superstar comedian, saying, “Ang galing talaga!” on one of Vice’s videos.
The overwhelming response highlights Vice Ganda’s influence in bridging Filipino and global pop culture, with fans eagerly anticipating a potential collaboration between the K pop group and the Filipino superstar.
