“I wrote this during a moment of reflection, thinking about how much my mom has been there for me through every high and low. It’s 100% based on my personal experience. Every word came from the heart, from real moments we’ve shared. I just wanted to put into music what I sometimes find hard to say out loud,” according to him.
The singer-songwriter highlights that “Sa Piling Mo Lang” is his way of showing gratitude to his mother, “I want to thank her for everything she’s done for me, for the love she’s given, and the way just being around her brings me peace. It’s about those simple moments—her smile, her voice, and our conversations that stay with me forever.”
