Sparkle star Herlene Budol bids goodbye to her well-loved character as “Binibining Marikit” on GMA Afternoon Prime this Friday, June 27.
Following the emotional reunion of Marikit and May (Pokwang), the two must escape the evil hands of Soraya (Pinky Amador) and Angela (Thea Tolentino), who capture them on a ferry. As they are locked up inside a cabin, Matthew (Kevin Dasom) and Drew (Tony Labrusca) come to the rescue.
A wild shootout erupts between Soraya’s goons and the bodyguards of May, causing everyone to panic. Marikit gets separated once again from her mother, May. Later on, a fire breaks out, triggering Marikit’s trauma.
