Sparkle GMA Artist Center has officially introduced its newest and youngest Pinoy Pop (P-Pop) boy group, Cloud 7, composed of seven talented members aged 13 to 19: Lukas Garcia, Johann Nepomuceno, Kairo Lazarte, Egypt See, Migz Diokno, PJ Yago, and Fian Guevarra.
The group made their public debut last Friday at GMA Studios, where they showcased their electrifying talent and teased upcoming projects, including their latest single ‘Bara Bara’ and its official music video.
Alongside new music, Cloud 7 will star in their first digital series, ‘Sparkle Presents: Up, Up, and Away’, premiering this June on Sparkle’s social media platforms. The show will offer fans a closer look into the lives of the group members through exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes moments.
Cloud 7 first stepped onto the scene on August 20, 2023, and has since released four energetic singles: ‘Silipin ang Mundo,’ ‘Louder,’ ‘Tayo Na,’ and ‘Tara Na.’ Known for their aspirational messages and vibrant sound, the group’s songs center on chasing dreams and celebrating youthful fun. Their musical style blends modern pop with Filipino influences, bringing a unique flavor to the P-Pop landscape.
At their launch, member Kairo Lazarte explained the origin of the group’s name: “Cloud 7 was inspired by cloud nine. When you say cloud nine, it means happiness or having fun—it’s very uplifting and very light. We want the audience to have that feeling when they watch our performance.”
He added, “So dahil seven members lang kami, ginawa naming Cloud 7. Yung mga fans naman namin we call them ‘Rainbows.’ Kasi kapag may clouds, may rainbow din. Each one of us represents a rainbow color.”
In 2024, the group officially signed under Sparkle during the agency’s Signed for Stardom event, reaffirming their position as rising stars in the entertainment industry. Backed by extensive training and performance preparation, Cloud 7 is now ready to take on the spotlight as the next big act in P-Pop.
