Filipino fans were treated to a superpowered fan experience as the stars and creators of DC Studios’ upcoming blockbuster ‘Superman’ touched down at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on June 17 for the ‘Look Up Manila’ Fan Event—the first official stop of their worldwide press tour.
In a full-circle moment for Pinoy DC fans, Manila stands proud as the only Southeast Asian stop of the tour, ahead of Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, and Beijing.
On hand to greet an electrified crowd were: David Corenswet – the new Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan – as fearless reporter Lois Lane, James Gunn – director, writer, and DC Studios co-CEO and Peter Safran – producer and fellow DC Studios co-CEO.
The fan event featured: Selfies, autographs, and unforgettable moments with the cast, a 30-minute exclusive sneak peek at the film and a powerful show of love from the Filipino DC community.
The tour also included a fan meet at The Victor at Bridgetowne Open Grounds, making the Manila leg a jam-packed celebration of all things Superman.
‘Superman’ opens in Philippine cinemas and IMAX theatres on July 9, 2025, two days ahead of the global premiere. Tickets are now available at all SM Cinema branches and online.
