It was a milestone moment for Timezone Philippines as the country’s premier family entertainment center introduced Myrtle Sarrosa as its first-ever celebrity brand ambassador on May 24 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Guests, media, and fans gathered early for the special event, which kicked off with food, fun, and an all-access tour of Timezone’s gaming areas. From claw machines to racing simulators, basketball, and bowling, attendees enjoyed the immersive arcade experience.
Though some attractions like the VR games and bumper cars had long queues, the energy remained high as everyone anticipated the main highlight: the big reveal of Timezone’s first ambassador.
Sarrosa was dramatically introduced as part of a game-themed reveal, later serenading the crowd with a live performance. She then took time to explore the arcade herself, playing some of her favorite games and interacting with guests.
Myrtle’s new role is more than just promotional—it’s personal. A native of Iloilo, Sarrosa was Timezone’s first-ever Gold Card holder, often seen in her younger years playing DrumMania and Dance Dance Revolution. It was even in Timezone Iloilo where she was discovered by ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ scouts while cosplaying and gaming—an encounter that launched her career as the PBB Teen Edition 4 winner and propelled her into showbiz.
“Timezone was my creative playground. It’s where I bonded with friends, embraced cosplay, and found my confidence,” Sarrosa shared.
According to Timezone Philippines President and General Manager Raffy Prats, the collaboration with Myrtle represents everything the brand stands for.
“Myrtle embodies the heart of Timezone—fun, fearless self-expression, and connection. Her influence as a gamer and entertainer amplifies our vision to be the ultimate destination for shared experiences,” he said.
As part of her ambassadorial duties, Myrtle will be featured in exclusive live events, including gaming tournaments and cosplay meetups, as well as digital content like behind-the-scenes videos and gameplay tutorials. There will also be interactive social media challenges, allowing fans to share their Timezone stories for a chance to win exciting prizes.
