DigiPlus Interactive Corp. officially launched its newest digital gaming platform, GameZone, on May 28 at the EDSA Shangri-La Garden Ballroom—with no less than Unkabogable Phenomenal Superstar Vice Ganda as its first-ever celebrity endorser.

The launch event featured vibrant performances from top drag artists and gave guests hands-on access to Filipino card games like Pusoy Dos, Tongits, and Lucky 9, offering a preview of the platform’s interactive and entertainment-driven design.
As the Philippines’ digital gaming landscape continues to expand, GameZone seeks to revolutionize the market with a player-focused interface, live-streamed games, and a dedicated Player vs. Player (PVP) mode for Tongits—aiming to deliver world-class digital experiences.
GameZone president Jasper Vicencio expressed excitement over the partnership with Vice Ganda. “She’s a respected icon; there’s no doubt about it. When it comes to acting, hosting, making people laugh, entertaining people—all around talaga—and this is what GameZone’s goal is: entertainment. It’s a real match, we’re very happy,” he said.
For Vice Ganda, the collaboration is built on mutual principles, especially when it comes to advocating for responsible gaming.
“GameZone and I, we both share the same goal of giving entertainment, fun, enjoyment, good vibes to the people who support us. At the same time, we also share the same concern for the people that support us—we have concern for those who will play,” she explained.
She further emphasized the need for mindful play: “If you have just enough money, we’re not inviting you to play. Only play if you have extra money. You have to know your capacity and your limits.”

Vice Ganda also noted that the company’s willingness to adopt her request for a “play responsibly” reminder in all campaign materials sealed her decision to endorse the platform.
“When they agreed to that immediately, I signed on quickly,” she said.
GameZone enters the market at a time when digital gambling is booming. According to PAGCOR, online gambling generated 56% of all gaming revenue in Q1 2025, amounting to PHP28.07 billion—surpassing figures from the same period last year.
Despite this growth, concerns over gambling addiction and financial misuse have prompted calls for greater responsibility. Vice Ganda underscored this in her message: “Huwag kang maglaro kung sapat lang ang pera mo.”
Vicencio affirmed the platform’s ethical direction: “The brand was really built to focus on gaming responsibly, so playing responsibly is our top priority and we are very firm and careful on how we implement it.”
“We won’t get tired of reminding everyone the importance of responsible gaming, even if we have to do it every day.”
GameZone also introduced its redesigned interface, crafted for better navigation and user experience. Vicencio stressed: “We are committed to our mission, which is to provide world-class entertainment for Filipinos.”
