Kapamilya programs remain the driving force behind TV5’s ratings performance, with ABS-CBN-produced shows consistently dominating the network’s primetime and overall rankings.

Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People Ratings for the week of June 30 to July 4, ABS-CBN content continues to be the biggest contributor to TV5’s viewership success.
Leading the charge is “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ),” which maintained its stronghold as the number one program in the country. On Monday, June 30, the Coco Martin-led action-drama posted a commanding 14.2% rating. Following closely is ‘Incognito’, another Kapamilya-produced series, which delivered a solid 8.6% rating, placing fourth overall. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s newest family crime-thriller Sins of the Father (SOTF) also made a notable impact, debuting with a 4.0% rating at number 13.
TV5’s in-house programs also held their ground. Noontime show ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ posted a 3.3% rating, landing at number 14, while the network’s own action-drama ‘Totoy Bato’ followed closely at number 15 with 3.2%, benefiting from its pre-primetime slot ahead of FPJBQ. However, other Kapatid programs such as ‘Frontline Pilipinas’ and ‘Mutya ng Section E (MNSE)’ landed in the lower tier of the chart, placing 20th and 23rd with 2.2% and 1.9% ratings, respectively.
On Tuesday, July 1, FPJBQ slightly improved to 14.3%, while ‘Incognito’ remained strong at 8.4%. SOTF and ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ held steady with 3.3% and 3.2%, respectively. ‘Totoy Bato’ posted 2.9%, while ‘Frontline Pilipinas’ and MNSE stayed consistent with 1.9% and 1.6%.
Midweek on July 2, Kapamilya shows continued to anchor TV5’s ratings. FPJBQ scored 14.0%, ‘Incognito’ followed with 8.2%, and SOTF earned 3.3%. Among TV5’s original programs, ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ matched its previous day’s 3.3%, while ‘Totoy Bato’ stayed at 2.9%. MNSE and ‘Frontline Pilipinas’ posted 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively.
On Thursday, July 3, FPJBQ and ‘Incognito’ remained the network’s top performers with 14.2% and 8.5%. SOTF and ‘Totoy Bato’ followed back-to-back at 3.4% and 3.3%, ranking 13th and 14th. ‘Frontline Pilipinas’ and MNSE also stayed close, posting 2.0% and 1.9%.
To close the week on Friday, July 4, FPJBQ continued to lead with 13.3%, followed by ‘Incognito’ at 7.6%. ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’, SOTF, and ‘Totoy Bato’ remained in the mid-tier with 3.5%, 3.1%, and 2.9%, respectively. MNSE and ‘Frontline Pilipinas’ rounded out the lower end of the chart with 1.9% and 1.6%.
With Kapamilya content consistently delivering strong numbers for TV5, it’s clear that ABS-CBN remains a vital ratings engine for the Kapatid network. The question now is whether TV5 can further capitalize on this momentum or if it will need to strengthen its own programming slate to keep pace.
