AZ Martinez has revealed that she has not spoken to former boyfriend Larkin Castor since leaving the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ house.

“When I got out of the house, I haven’t been in contact with him. Hindi na po kami nag-usap. But I wish him all the best talaga,” AZ said in an interview with Boy Abunda.
She admitted that while the door isn’t completely closed, she is currently not ready to face him. “As of now, I’m not yet ready to talk muna. I’m not yet ready to talk to him but like I wanna focus more on myself and career,” she added.
It can be recalled that Larkin broke up with AZ before she joined the PBB house, reportedly due to his disapproval of her joining the show. Despite their split, Larkin sent her a heartfelt letter while she was inside the house, which she received after successfully completing a task.
In his letter, Larkin wrote: “I’m really sorry that I haven’t been the best partner to you. To be honest with you, the distance between has been really difficult din for me. Pero I’m not letting it stop me from holding on to our promises. Lagi kong pinanghahawakan natin ‘yung napag-usapan natin before you went in.”
He added: “I want you to know that I haven’t given up waiting for you not because you asked but because gusto ko din maintindihan lahat ng maayos. Gusto kita maintindihan.”

However, days later, AZ responded with clarity and closure during a private moment with Big Brother.
“Gusto ko po sabihin sa kanya is, pinapalaya ko na po siya, Kuya,” she said. “Kung gusto niya pa rin maghintay, Kuya, that’s his choice na. Pero ayoko na po siya kontrolin, ayoko na siya pilitin, ayoko na siya habulin or guluhin pa, Kuya. Kasi alam ko mas masasaktan, mas masisira lang siya if I leave him hanging.”
Since the end of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition, where she finished as the 4th Big Placer alongside duo partner River Joseph, AZ has been linked to fellow housemate Ralph de Leon, though she has not confirmed anything beyond friendship.
