Fresh from the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ house, AZ Martinez isn’t closing the door on a possible deeper connection with fellow housemate Ralph De Leon—now that they’re back in the “outside world.”
In an interview aired on ’24 Oras’, AZ was asked about the real score between her and Ralph, whose closeness inside the PBB house had fans buzzing.
“We’re really good friends… Hindi pa po kami masyadong nakapag-catch up kasi we’re enjoying time with our families, pero nagkita kami, like he was here kanina. We began catching up,” she shared.
“I hope to get to know him more here in the outside world,” AZ added, sending AzRalph fans into kilig overdrive.
Their undeniable chemistry began when they were known as the RAZ duo in the early weeks of PBB, with their closeness growing steadily until it became impossible for viewers not to notice. Although both AZ and Ralph have downplayed any romantic involvement—especially during their respective interviews—fans couldn’t help but hold on to hope, especially after the two reunited following Ralph’s wildcard return.
Their moments inside the house, including playful teases and surprisingly tender drunk confessions, only fueled the buzz. When they were finally both out of the house, AzRalph delighted fans with their first selfie together and a TikTok video joining the viral “Lasik” trend—where Ralph jokingly searched for his missing glasses, only to find them on AZ.
“Ah nasa ‘yo pala,” Ralph captioned.
AZ replied in the comments, “Bagay pala sakin.”
Will Ashley, Ralph’s PBB partner, joined the fun and commented, “Bdtrp.”
AZ also recalled being overwhelmed by the LED signs and fan cheers during the Big Night, a dream she and her PBB partner River Joseph once spoke about.
“Pangarap lang namin ‘yun ni River… Tapos nakita ko,” she said emotionally.
While nothing is confirmed just yet, both AZ and Ralph are open about enjoying each other’s company—with Ralph telling Boy Abunda in a separate interview, “As of now, I can’t say po talaga. Let’s see.”
