They entered ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ in search of connection — and left as one of the most talked-about pairs of the season.
Just days after their exit, Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera, affectionately dubbed ‘DusBi’ by fans, are breaking their silence and reflecting on their time inside Kuya’s house.
Appearing on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Wednesday, July 2, the duo addressed both the praise and criticism they’ve received. Despite falling short of the Big Four after losing the final Big Jump Challenge to the BreKa tandem (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca), they say they have no regrets.
“We have no regrets at all,” said Bianca. “Alam po namin na binigay namin ‘yung best namin… our journey had to end there and we fully accept that. And it is okay.”
Bianca also shared how they’re taking things one step at a time as they adjust to life outside the house.
“We’re getting there, Tito Boy. We’re processing pa… baby steps. Ayaw po namin biglain ‘yung utak namin or selves basically, so we’re okay, we’re stable,” she explained.
Boy also brought up a major surprise: multiple fan-made billboards of Dustin and Bianca — not just in the Philippines, but internationally, including Times Square in New York and locations in Seoul, Davao, Guadalupe, and Ortigas.
Dustin admitted he initially thought the billboards were fake.
“Never ko talaga siya na-imagine sa life ko. At first, akala ko edited lang… pero ‘nung dumaan ako sa Edsa at nakita ko — grabe, nakaka-proud. Super nakakataba po talaga ng puso,” he said.
He added, “Sobrang naramdaman po talaga namin ‘yung love ng mga tao sa labas.”
Bianca was equally overwhelmed by the fan support.
“Nakakawala po talaga ng pagod… We’ve been inside the house for more than a hundred days. Akala nga po namin na walang nagmamahal sa amin. Pero when we came out, we were welcomed with such warm, beautiful people. Kahit natalo kami sa challenge, pakiramdam po namin, panalo na kami,” she shared.
Even if they didn’t reach the Big Four, the pair believe their journey was worthwhile — not just for the experiences inside Kuya’s house, but for the strength and support they discovered outside of it.
