Elisse Joson has confirmed that she and McCoy de Leon have ended their relationship for good, marking the close of a years-long love story that began inside the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ house and brought them their greatest gift — daughter Felize.

In an emotional Instagram post on Friday, July 25, Joson shared a heartfelt statement alongside a montage of cherished moments with de Leon and their child.
“My biggest dream in life has always been to build a family I could call mine. A home. That dream shaped me. It grounded me,” she wrote. “And for all the beautiful five years (and more) that we were together, I held onto that dream with everything I had. I kept that promise… to love, to fight, to stay.”
Joson revealed that they “both tried” to make the relationship work but eventually realized that parting ways was the best way forward.
“Truthfully, we both tried. We both held on for as long as we could. But now, we’re learning to let go. Together, we’re releasing that dream. So we can finally allow a new kind of peace, growth, and healing to enter,” she added.
Still, Joson emphasized that their love was real and meaningful — a foundation that brought them Felize. “And letting go doesn’t mean we failed. Because what we had was real. And it gave us the greatest gift… Our Felize. There are moments when she wraps her arms around us and says, ‘My family belongs to me.’ And she will always be right.”

She assured fans that despite their romantic split, their bond as parents remains unshaken. “No matter how life changes, we will always belong to her. Her mommy. Her daddy. Her family. That will never ever change.”
The ‘Saving Grace’ actress also clarified that their decision was mutual and made with love and maturity. “No need for speculations, no assumptions. This wasn’t easy for either of us. We simply ask for kindness and respect as this story, and how it’s remembered, may one day shape what our daughter believes about love, family, and letting go.”
“This is us, stepping into a new chapter with love, respect, and no regrets,” she concluded.
Joson and de Leon’s on-and-off relationship has long captured public attention since they first met on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7’ in 2016. They welcomed their daughter in 2021 and faced multiple challenges as a couple, including brief breakups and controversies.
Their final public appearance as a couple raised questions when they arrived separately at the 2025 ABS-CBN Ball last April — a move that fueled speculation about the state of their relationship. That question has now been answered.
