‘Pinoy Big Brother Gen11’ big winner Fyang Smith shared a heartfelt message for Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, who were recently crowned the Big Winners of ‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’.

In an interview on ‘Showtime Online U’ last Tuesday, Smith appeared with her ‘Ghosting’ co-star JM Ibarra, where she praised the winning duo—popularly known as BreKa—for their historic feat.
“Sa BreKa, congratulations! Kasi purple din sila, purple din ako. So nagwagi talaga ang Team Purple. Congratulations, I hope to see you both soon,” said Smith.
Last Saturday, Manalo and Salamanca were declared the first-ever duo winners of the Celebrity Collab Edition, a landmark collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network. The pair won with 33.03% of the total combined votes, beating other housemate duos in the finale.

The day before Smith’s message, BreKa also guested on ‘Showtime Online U’, where they reflected on their victory and the pressure of making history as the show’s inaugural winning duo.
Before offering her congratulations, Smith spoke about her upcoming iWant series ‘Ghosting’, which premieres this July. The show also stars Ibarra and marks their debut as an onscreen pairing.
“Palagi akong gino-ghost ng taong mahal ko. Kahit sinong taong mahal ko ay gino-ghost ako, iniiwan ako, inaabandona,” Smith revealed about her character, Jaja, a woman unlucky in love.
Ibarra, meanwhile, plays Wilberto, a literal ghost from the 1940s.
“Na-dead si Wilberto noong 1940s. Isa siyang dating sundalo na namatay noong World War II,” Smith added.
Directed by Ted Boborol, Ghosting tells the story of a spirited young woman who escapes heartbreak in the city by retreating to her grandmother’s provincial home—only to fall for a mysterious local who turns out to be a restless spirit. The show promises a romantic tale that transcends life and death.
Joining Smith and Ibarra in the cast are Kobe Brown, Vivoree Esclito, Gelo Marquez, Ces Quesada, and Ruby Ruiz. Ghosting begins streaming this July, exclusively on iWant.
