Klarisse de Guzman, dubbed “Nation’s Mowm” by fans during her stint in ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’, openly reflected on her most talked-about moments inside the house—particularly her viral “OA!” remark that sparked widespread discussion online.
At the Star Magic Spotlight press conference held Monday, July 14, Klarisse looked back at some of her more intense experiences in the ‘PBB’ house, including a heated moment with fellow housemate Dustin Yu during a “no talking” task led by her and Will Ashley.
“For me, siguro ‘yung OA moment namin. Siguro sana mas na-handle ko siya nang maayos or mas hinabaan ko pa ‘yung pasensiya ko. Or mas nilawakan ko pa ‘yung pang-unawa ko para medyo naiwasan na ‘yung ganong harapan,” she admitted.
“Actually, hindi ko na talaga naiwasan that time. Siguro naghalo-halo na ‘yung emosyon, ‘yung pressure as a task leader, wala pa kaming oras magsalita. So ayun siguro mas na-handle ko siya nang maayos,” she added.
Another standout moment for Klarisse was during a house party hosted by celebrity guest Donny Pangilinan. She recalled getting intoxicated and jumping into the pool—an incident that inadvertently led to the automatic nomination of her duo partner Shuvee Etrata, who dove in to help her while still wearing her lapel mic.
“At saka ‘yung nalasing ako. Sana pala medyo naghinay-hinay ako para hindi na nadamay si Shuvee sa lapel,” Klarisse said with a laugh, calling it both a mistake and a “fun memory.”
Since leaving the house, Klarisse shared that the experience helped her grow in ways she hadn’t anticipated—especially when it comes to embracing her true self.
“Siguro ‘yung Klarisse ngayon masasabi ko na mas may tiwala na sa sarili, mas may self-confidence na. Mas hindi na takot kasi malaya na rin ako, wala na akong tinatago. ‘Yun ang nararamdaman ko talaga ngayon eh compared before na feeling ko may nakaangkla, parang may isang pumipigil,” the OPM singer and proud LGBTQIA+ member shared.
