The 37th PMPC Star Awards for Television lit up the VS Hotel Convention Center in Quezon City on Sunday, August 24, 2025, honoring the finest shows, stars, and industry movers across 41 categories.

In a night filled with milestones, Joshua Garcia took home Best Drama Actor for his performance in ‘Unbreak My Heart’, while Rhian Ramos was named Best Drama Actress for ‘Royal Blood’—her first-ever PMPC trophy.

Alden Richards was hailed Best Single Performance by an Actor for his moving role in ‘Magpakailanman: The Cantillana Family Story’, while Rochelle Pangilinan bagged Best Single Performance by an Actress for ‘Magpakailanman: The Abused Teacher’.

Supporting category honors went to Elijah Canlas (Senior High) and Cherry Pie Picache (FPJ’s Batang Quiapo).
‘It’s Showtime’ was declared Best Variety Show, with Kim Chiu awarded Best Female TV Host. Robi Domingo (ASAP Natin ’To) tied with Paolo Ballesteros (E.A.T.) for Best Male TV Host.
In comedy, ‘Pepito Manaloto’ was recognized as Best Comedy Show, while Paolo Contis and Chariz Solomon won Best Comedy Actor and Actress for ‘Bubble Gang’.

GMA Network reigned supreme, winning Best TV Station. Its shows ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ (Best Primetime Series), ‘Abot Kamay ang Pangarap’ (Best Daytime Drama), ‘Magpakailanman’ (Best Drama Anthology), and ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ (Best Mini-Series) also earned top awards.
‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ was once again hailed Best Magazine Show, while ‘The Atom Araullo Specials’ bagged Best Documentary Program.

John Clifford (Pepito Manaloto) and Gela Atayde (Senior High) were recognized as Best New Male and Female TV Personalities. Meanwhile, teen tandem Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz won the German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year award.

On the red carpet, Joshua Garcia and Rochelle Pangilinan were named Male and Female Celebrities of the Night, while Garcia and Ramos were hailed as Faces of the Night.

Veteran hosts also scored big: Korina Sanchez (Best Magazine Show Host for Rated Korina) and Boy Abunda, who took home Best Celebrity Talk Show Host (Fast Talk with Boy Abunda) and Best Public Affairs Program Host (Cayetano in Action with Boy Abunda).
PMPC President Mell T. Navarro underscored the awards’ cultural significance: “The Star Awards is not just a tradition; it has become an integral part of the culture of the industry we belong to. For the 37th edition, we proudly celebrate all the nominees and winners.”
With performances by Dingdong Avanzado, Jessa Zaragoza, Christian Bautista, Kai Montinola, Jarren Garcia, One Verse, InnerVoices, and more, the evening was both a glamorous red-carpet affair and a heartfelt tribute to Philippine television.
