New Gen Phenomenal Star Belle Mariano proudly reaffirmed her loyalty to ABS-CBN as she renewed her contract with the network during the ‘Forever Kapamilya: Born To Shine’ event on Monday, August 18.
Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Entertainment Production and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, Group CFO Rick Tan, and Belle’s manager Edith Fariñas.
In her message, Belle expressed deep gratitude to the Kapamilya bosses and her supporters: “I’d just like to thank each and everyone of you who champions me. Maraming salamat po to our ABS-CBN bosses, thank you for making ABS-CBN a home for me. To everyone who’s been supportive of my journey, I dedicate all these years for you.”
The 22-year-old actress-singer looked back on her 14-year journey in showbiz, starting as a child star before rising to become one of her generation’s most bankable actresses.
Sharing advice to aspiring talents, she said: “Don’t let your fear stop you from pursuing what you love doing. Yes, you will fall but you will also rise. Just keep believing and have the heart and faith in you because you will achieve great things and you are capable of many things.”
During the program, a pre-recorded retrospective of her career was presented, featuring messages from her family, friends, and fellow artists, including Cathy Garcia-Molina, Mae Cruz-Alviar, Piolo Pascual, and her love team partner Donny Pangilinan.
Belle is set to headline the upcoming Star Cinema film ‘Meet, Greet & Bye’ alongside Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Maricel Soriano, under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina.
She also revealed that a new album under StarPop is in the works, following her successful releases ‘Daylight,’ ‘Somber,’ ‘And Solemn,’ and ‘Believe.’ A birthday concert is also being lined up for fans.
Looking forward to her growth as an actress, Belle said she is open to more challenging roles: “I would say ang dami ko pang gustong gawing roles. I’ve never done anything na something bida-kontrabida, which I mentioned, horror. That’s something I want to do. I won’t limit myself into something, I really want to learn and grow and want to challenge myself.”
For fans of DonBelle, Belle confirmed that a reunion project with Donny Pangilinan is on the horizon: “This time, we want it to be different… na once we both reunite again, we want it to be different from what we’ve previously done.”
Ending on a high note, Belle declared her loyalty loud and clear: “Kapamilya Forever.”
