Five years after ABS-CBN’s broadcast operations ceased due to the non-renewal of its franchise, its beloved AM radio station has made a powerful comeback—thanks to the unwavering support of its loyal Kapamilya listeners.

DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 officially returned to the airwaves on May 29, 2025, reclaiming its iconic call sign from DWPM. This revival comes through a joint venture between ABS-CBN and Prime Media Holdings under Media Serbisyo Production Corporation.
According to the latest AM radio ratings from Nielsen Philippines’ Mega Manila survey, DZMM quickly climbed the ranks, demonstrating the enduring strength of its brand and listener loyalty.
In the July 2025 report, DZMM soared to the number two spot in Mega Manila with a 15.1% rating—just behind long-time leader DZBB, which held 39.9%. This marked a dramatic 96.1% increase from DZMM’s June 2025 rating of 7.7%, where it ranked fourth.
For comparison, the June 2025 ratings placed DZBB at the top with 45%, followed by DWWW with 18.0%, and DZRH in third with 15.1%.
Before its rebranding, DWPM consistently struggled in the ratings. In July 2024, it ranked fifth with just 2.3%, and in April and May 2025, it failed to break into the top five.
DZMM’s resurgence clearly shows the lasting impact of its brand. The significant leap in both ranking and ratings underscores the deep connection Kapamilya listeners continue to have with DZMM—proving that the station still holds a special place in their hearts.
