Showbiz host and columnist Ogie Diaz revealed why he has decided to stop dishing out blind items on his social media platforms and Showbiz Update vlog.

In a Facebook post on August 24, Ogie admitted that while blind items can be entertaining, they also create awkward situations with friends and acquaintances.
According to Ogie, once he posts such blind items, people—especially curious friends—immediately reach out to him to ask for the identities behind the stories.
When he refuses to reveal names, Ogie said some acquaintances even get offended.
Because of this, the host decided to put blind items on pause for now.
“Kaya sorry. Pass na muna for now.”
In his usual humorous tone, Ogie ended the post with a tease, saying: “Hindi ko muna sasabihin yung alam ko tungkol sa isang guwapong aktor.”
Despite stepping back from blind items, Ogie assured his followers that he will continue sharing honest commentaries and industry insights—this time, without risking friendships.
