Vice Ganda questions why those who didn’t watch his concert are the most offended

Comedian-host Vice Ganda appeared to take a jab at critics of his recent jokes, wondering aloud why those who weren’t even at his show seemed to be the most offended.

During a segment of the ‘Super Divas’ concert with Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Vice spoke about the importance of “living the moment” and urged paying concertgoers to avoid excessive phone use so they could fully enjoy the live experience.

“’Yung mga nanonood dito, ‘yung mga nagbabayad, nag-eenjoy. Hanggang sa pag-uwi, nag-eenjoy, masaya,” he told the audience.

He then quipped about people who didn’t buy tickets but still had strong opinions: “’Yung mga hindi nagbayad, tapos nakinood lang, naknmpta, ‘yun pa ‘yung may mga opinyon.”

Vice noted that the ones getting upset over his remarks were those who had only seen clips of the concert on social media.

“Aminin n’yo! Sila pa ‘yung na-offend! Ba’t kayo na-offend, wala naman kayo do’n? Hindi naman para sa inyo ‘yon, hindi naman kayo nagbayad,” he said.

“’Di ba? Sila ‘yung na-offend, sila ‘yung ‘di nag-enjoy. Sila ‘yung mga ayaw ng mga—gag*,” he added, drawing laughs from the crowd.

The Unkabogable Star has been in the spotlight in recent days over his satirical remarks about former president Rodrigo Duterte during the same concert, which sparked mixed reactions online.
