Kapuso variety show ‘All-Out Sundays (AOS)’ continues to hold the crown as the country’s top Sunday musical program, according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People Ratings report.

On September 7, AOS pulled in a solid 3.5% rating, enough to secure the 6th spot on the overall Sunday leaderboard. It shared the spot with fellow GMA shows ‘Resibo: Walang Lusot ang May Atraso’ and ‘FPJ sa GMA’, proving the Kapuso network’s grip on weekend viewership.
Meanwhile, its longtime rival, ABS-CBN’s ASAP, which aired the much-hyped first part of its ‘ASAP in England’ concert, lagged behind. The overseas spectacle only managed a 2.0% rating, placing it at number 10, tied with GMA’s science edutainment show ‘iBilib.’ That’s a 1.5% gap behind AOS, a decisive win for the Kapuso side.
Despite AOS’s consistent lead in the noontime variety space, the numbers also highlight a bigger trend: Filipino viewers are tuning in less to traditional Sunday musical variety formats, as other genres dominate the ratings game.
Topping the Sunday charts was, once again, the undefeated ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS),’ which earned a massive 14.6% rating. Following closely is the grand finale of ‘The Clash 2025,’ which scored an impressive 12.6%, showing the continued pull of reality singing competitions.
Rounding out the Top 5 were GMA’s legendary gag show ‘BBLGang’ at 8.2%, ’24 Oras Weekend’ with 6.3%, and ABS-CBN’s ‘Idol Kids Philippines’ at 4.0%.
While the variety showdown between AOS and ASAP continues, it’s clear that Kapuso programming remains the dominant force in Sunday TV viewing. But as ratings reveal, audience tastes are shifting, and Sunday entertainment might be due for a fresh remix.
