Five years ago, when asked where she envisioned BINI in the future, leader Jhoanna Robles said without hesitation: performing at Coachella.
That dream has now become reality.

The Nation’s Girl Group — Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena — is officially set to make history as the first Filipino act to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. They will take the stage on April 10 and 17, 2026, alongside global names such as Sabrina Carpenter, KATSEYE, Creepy Nuts, Teddy Swims, and Max Dean.
“We always say in interviews that Coachella is our dream, our goal. We just didn’t expect it would happen so soon,” Jhoanna told ABS-CBN News.
Colet echoed the sentiment: “This has always been our number one manifestation. We were open about wanting to perform at Coachella, and now it’s happening. Thank you, Lord.”
Sheena revealed that fellow member Stacey was the first to spot the news online, though at first they thought it was just an edited post. The official announcement confirmed what once seemed impossible. “Kailangan mag-allot ng time for Coachella para mapakita who we are and what we got,” Sheena added.

Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi credited the group’s hard work and growing reach: “Our world tour paid off. The support of the Blooms was felt, and the work of our agent proved solid.”
Hours after the announcement, the group headed to Enderun Colleges in Taguig for a fan meet with Akari, their partner brand since March. BINI made a grand entrance singing ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ greeted by cheers from fans of all ages — from Gen Z to women dancing along to ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Shagidi.’
During the event, the members gamely answered fan questions, with Aiah describing the group’s legacy: “The authenticity, the joy, and the pride we bring. We’re just honest with ourselves. We want to normalize that our group is not perfect. We’re all humans. Also, our pop songs.”
In a playful moment, Jhoanna even tweaked the lyrics of their song ‘Lagi’ to reflect their Coachella milestone: “Halika, tara na, sa’n mo ba gustong pumunta? Sa Luzon, Visayas ba? O Coachella kaya.”

Akari shared in the celebration, with digital technology director Gerard Tan praising the group’s impact. “We’re happy to be working with the best in the Philippines, and we know that BINI embodies what it means to be a true Filipino on both a local and international scale,” he said.
Tan highlighted their collaboration on nine specially designed fans for Filipinos from all walks of life, noting: “We are happy and proud of them. Congratulations to them sa Coachella. That’s what makes them the best. They get to perform on an international stage. We look forward to it.”
